Keep India Clean

One of the most difficult things for Indians to do is keep clean.
We can sermonize on cleansing ourselves, our body, our mind, but still we never come close to keeping our surroundings clean. Keep India Clean is an effort, proposed to be a collaborative one, where anyone and everyone is invited to post picture(s), video(s), or just a textual account about anyone anywhere not adhering to basic moral standards of trashing.
This is *not* a campaign with any motive, except that to make people aware about such things and maybe maybe maybe maybe if the culprit sees himself/herself and his/her city being documented in a negative light, they will try and curb such malpractices.

Even if you don't have photographical evidence, you are welcome to post text, for example, if you see a person throwing litter out of a car, just memorize the car number and post it. Who knows, the litterer might be an avid blogger? ;)

To contribute, you can drop me an email on varun[dot]nagpal[at]gmail[dot]com and I can either add you as an author, or add the content in a new post on your behalf.

Came across your post. This is something that bothers me too. 'It is not my responsibility' is the attitude so prevalent. Had written a short story on this. can fid it at http://mydolchi.blogspot.com/2010/10/blog-post_7690.html
